We need to import stuff from India and other countries. Buying from wholesale outlet will not help. You will end up making nothing. You should talk about generating business worth atleast a million dollar to venture into this kind of business to make a living for few partners. If you guys can take care of getting orders, delivery and payment then I will take care of imports, warehousing etc.,

Now its a time to call a meeting to discuss it further.
However, I am surprised with the poor response - I was expecting more people to response on this idea. Yes, we have not done anything concrete on this yet, but saying few words on this topic could help to make decision.
Personally I want to build stepwise - no big jumps. Import could be a good idea, but if it requires lots of investment, it is better to go with local wholesellers and have less or zero profit than just starting big.
Let us disscuss this further.

Count me in. I am landing in March, and would be interested to handle the running around/looking after imports/etc/etc. tasks. Not very interested in taking up jobs, although initially may have to for survival.
