How is buying on Ebay is it worth using pay pal etc or just a scam?
I move this thread to shopping.
I bought few things from ebay and it is good. It depends on who is selling and may be 1 out of 500 times you will see scams, but they have user rating that can help you how much to trust the seller.

As of now I have done 110 transactions on Ebay...from Books, Cds, DVDs (Just got another one yesterday) to much bigger things (Max I have spent is $800 US)....All have gone smoothly and paypal works fine. But I have heard horror stories....
Out of the above I got ripped off on two occasions. One for $10 and $4......
Whenver I want to buy something my first instinct is to check on Ebay.

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
I am also a regular user of eBay.. I use paypal for almost all transactions.. and never had any problems.. One thing about E-bay is shipping cost.. you have to read that part carefully.. or u will end up paying $15 shipping for an item worth $10..
Some also allow local pick-ups (specially in GTA).. this way you can save on shipping and also pay by using cash if u wish..
