Hi All
calling all best engineers of canada; Time to prove your prowess to fellow Indian.
I have a Trojan Horse Virus in my system how can i remove it and its now in one of the system file.
c:\windows\system32\qzacfv.exe
i have already used panda system scan ; AVG ; Norton trial ; MCafee and adaware.
what else can i do to help save my data and remove even the traces of virus.

I suppose you have Windows Xp (the FCKGW....version 
).
While its starting, press F8.
It will take u to safe mode
Then in safe mode, go to that directory \system32
and delete the file manually.

If that doesnt work , take out ur hard disk and take it 2 another system .Plug it in as a secondary and delete mannually .

Please go to the following link and do as given :

Step 1. :
Download this Patch and save it on your Desktop. - Just for your info. - (You need to do it since during the process of removal you are required to reboot in safe mode so that this removal tool appears and you do not need to locate it as you would be left with very few options. )
Step 2 :
Right Click on your LAN / Modem connection and disable it / disconnect it so that it does not remain connected to internet.
Step 3 :
Further to remove this virus completely you need to follow:
A. Go to system restore :
Click on My Computer and click on View System Information. In the Screen which appears, you will find System Restore; Click it and "Tick" the Option "Turn off system on all drives" APPLY It.
B. Shut down your system. Reboot and while you see the initial screen before boot up keep pressing F8 Key till you are taken to a DOS Screen with sevarl options. CHOOSE SAFE MODE.
C. After the system is restarted, please Choose (Click) for your User Name and NOT ADMINISTRATOR.
D. You will see the Patch on your desk top and click it to run the cleaning of virus.
After performing cleaning, please change following back to normal :
Go to System restore and Untick the Option of Turn off all Drives Option.
Reconnect / Enable your Internet connection... and Surf / Work on your machine as usual.
The procedure is a bit lengthy but once you do it you will not have any problem later on removing viruses.
I am also NOT A IT Guy, but learnt this technique from Symantec website.

If you know the name of the trojan then go to any of the antivirus vendor websites and locate for the 'removal tool' for that trojan.
