I have been offered the admission in fanshawe college, London south campus.
The course is BUSINESS AND INFORMATION SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE. Its an 2 Year PG Diploma Course.
Whats your review on that. Also I wanted to know about the Part time jobs in london and also what is status of field jobs after the completion of this course. Also what are the chances of getting PR over there?

You are a very ambitious individual and I am glad that you applied for a seat and secured one here in Canada and in Fanshaw College.

Here when they say "COLLEGE" they just mean an Institution that provides a DIPLOMA or a Certificate. Not that they are not spreading their wings by incorporating a Degree here and there, it is certainly encouraging to the locals who obtain a Degree at a very minimal cost.

In my travels, I have seen coaching Schools and branch plants there in your town that provide coaching to individuals at a nominal cost and the Fees, the cost of Room and Board here will cover your FOUR year Degree courses there. Enter into one such University and MAX the program. You have a great future and your aim and goal ought to be to head into the clouds. You are not an 'ALSO RAN" material. So, pull up your socks and aim high.

There are a few FULL-time jobs here in London, Ontario and they all are seasonal and in the service industry.

IMMIGRATION is a ball of wool of a different color. But you will surely be guided in the right direction upon entry. Currently, it looks pretty secure and Canada is gung ho in providing all the entrants a Permanent Residency who studied into a Degree. You will also get one in due course and will get accepted here. Please bear in mind that it is a struggle and an uphill battle for a Single Individual.

College in Canada and courses like 30 wk diploma re like training certificates in India. Unless it is a 3 or 4 yr full time college degree or a 2 yr full time masters it is of not much use.

many students who finished their engineering come to conestoga or fanshwe or lambton college just for (mostly) getting out of india and into canada.
work in pizza, shawarma places from day 1 and try to work towards work permit.

if you want to come for education, if you already done your degree in INDIA, then come for Masters in any Canadian university. it will really help

If you are after the colleges, understand these are not universities. they are like polytechnic colleges in india where people go after their school

re accomodation in london , you can get 1 room for 500 - 600 dollars
or find desi students and share and apartment or a basement.
that is easy

indian groceries, indian restaurants, food, temples, people are plenty
