BE HAPPY KEEP HAPPY
Don't do it. When you are ready to sell it, and the price seems O.K. Fly back to the location here and sign and take the money back home and deposit it in your own account.
I do believe your brother and the R.E.Agent too. But giving a POA to some one you do not know is s NO NO.
They will fry you. When they are gone, you lost EVERYTHING.
So, be careful.
If you don't have money to buy the ticket, then use the Credit Card and when you return back you will have oodles and oodles of dough to pay and settle your credit card debt.
Good Luck.

EDIT..: Sure, you can trust your brother or anyone for that matter. In which case, please make sure that the Cheque, that the seller makes it out, is ONLY CASHABLE BY YOU AND IN YOUR ACCOUNT. That way you get to see all of the money in your own account. Make this stipulation in your Power of Attorney that you sign and send.
When I worked there in India, we had 80 days a year in holidays plus 10 days of casual leave. If you book a return flight, you can drop in and spend a day and do every thing and walk away with the cheque. The cost a 1000 Dollars. A peace of mind, with which you can sleep with, and the money in your pocket after that.
Some things are personal and this in my books, happens to be one. You can do what ever pleases you.
Good Luck.
FH.
