I will be moving to PEI on 28 July 2016. Would like to get in touch with Canadiandesi's in PEI.
Is there any one to help me out regarding info on rented apartments in downtown charlottetown, purchase of indian cooking stuff, local jobs etc.

It becomes a little difficult to provide with an exact rental without having a clue as to the size, proximity, and the budget. Also are you leasing it for a long period..
If and when you find a suitable ad and you don't know where it is, then click on the name in the list if it is listed there in it and it will take you to a map. It might help you a little. See its use meets your purpose.
It will run you anywhere between 7 and 9 and there are better ones too. So you do have a choice. Most of them empty out by the end of June. So, drop in and scout the neighborhood first and then checkout the interior with a visit to the empty apartment. Short list all of them that you feel is worth waiting for. They are premium places.
The people who are residents there are very friendly and helpful most of the time. So be guided by this. Also, if you have a conveyance, you have all the time to do your own inspections.

The Ads might be old because they were posted a few days ago. So, check the dates that they got posted to the web. Then read them to see if it is worth a visit.

Any specific reason you have chosen PEI to live ? Its an interesting subject for me, that is why the question. is it Job ? or provincial nomination ?
