The black watery stuff is mold. My house is only 2 yrs old an still that happens. It has nothing to do with age of house. It is because of humidifier and leak from windows.
I use CLR mold cleaner and it does a good job. Alternatively you can use Hydrogen Peroxide 2% concentration available at walmart. Hydrogen peroxide is good mold remover and is way cheaper then CLR.
Just try on corner before application of H2O2. and keep your kids away from it.

Does not happen, Sir ! All tried. Every house is a different story, so there are different solution for different locations for this one problem. Easy (easier, easiest) is not the word for this issue.
You can mince it, you can dice it, slice it or combobulate it, if such a problem exists where in you see a little condensation and the tarnishing of the paint and colors at the corner of the windows, the only solution available to you is wiping the same out as frequently as possible.
Do tell me how many of us are habitual cleaners and where do we have time to do this on a daily basis? I do not have a MALI the gardener, A chauffeur or a Driver, a cook cum cleaner, and here I am all wrapped up in one plus a chiefcook-cum-bottle washer and a handy man to go with and they call me Mr.Fixit and I change the hats like a juggler to live in this neck of the woods.
Then I appear here to chat with you guys on a timely basis to make it a pleasant one.
When the grass is riz, if you have done the spring cleaning and you still see the black spots, then, get a triple zero grit sand paper, wrap it around a small square piece of wood and rub it clean as best as you can, apply any green frog tape where you don't want the spray paint to adhere, then use a glossy white enamel Spray Paint can and hit the spots till they all disappear and give it a few good coats, before you remove the masking tape. That should do the trick. THIS IS THE FIX.
We can always discuss the way the moisture gets formed and how the penicillin grows on leather shoes. We can also discuss how we can deliver monkeys, if we screw scientifically. These are very good subjects to discuss in another thread. Ask VAGG to Start one on Darwin and and his theory on propagation.
May be we can work back to where we all came from, just for discussion.
Just for asking, Did Darwin deal with windows and dark corners too? Some times I wonder!!
