Stay in UK. I am not a accounting professional but my few friends are who have CMA and CGA. I think they all have become CPA after the merger. I have seen their careers going up and down all their life because they are immigrants. I have seen them always cribbing about their jobs and could not grow much.
In UK, at least you have option to move anywhere with in Europe or to middle east.
Choice would be yours.
Canadian Government Statistics are just numbers and they change just like Canadian Weather. Crappiest site is jobs.gc.ca. Don't get comfortable with these.
Deeps,
some wise words you have said !
I accept it 100 % and bow down to your wisdom regarding Canada.

@ Deeps thanks for your advise two points
once a person is Canadian resident holders does the immigrant argument stands valid?
Also regarding UK - Europe has language barriers and hence the career prospect is always hindered by language depending upon EU nation. Secondly middle east is an open ground I don't think so that a Canadian has any restrictions on working in Middle East.
