The price of CRUDE was $110+ per Barrel, an year ago. We paid $1.35 per liter of gas, regular grade.
Now we see the same CRUDE priced at 52.99+- a Barrel today. The Price of Gas per liter at $119 today.

Do you think the Petroleum Manufacturers are treating us fairly? OR are we being taken for a ride?!

I think we have fallen asleep or lulled into one. There is a sense of helplessness that I can feel, within me. Also I don't have a place I can turn to for help in this.

A month or so ago, I saw a few pictures on the web from TEXAS area and they had a few gas stations with prices on their display board which stated it was sold for $2.40/gallon which is 3.89 liters for the $2.40 price. i.e., 62c/liter. (Six weeks ago)

Here is the table of taxes from a local website in Canada and you can see for yourself what the local taxes are. Please work with them, backwards and forward and do tell me if you can arrive at a conclusion by yourself and validate my suspicion.

During the UPA rule, Petrol was at rs. 78 or so. Now with the same crude price that you mentioned, price of petrol iss Rs 74 or so.

I was talking to a seat manufacturer the other day to seal a deal for 600 seats. He told me that though the price of crude oil has gone down, Reliance has not even reduced a rupee from the Crude oil by product used for the sofa's.
