I didn't know, this site prohibits posting job opportunities RC. I don't know her personally, but she is one of the top recruiter and she sends me her requirements sometimes and she also posts on my timeline on facebook.

It is not that this site prohibits job postings. I am just wondering what is the point of some random job postings that too in US which are in public domain(job sites, recruiter websites, facebook, etc., anyway). It is a whole different story if you can refer someone or know an internal posting which is not advertised on job sites, etc.

RC... Many people esp ladies including me would like somebody to help them with job opportunities posted on the site whereby the email is readily available to send our resumes. Sometimes, after handling job and homefront, we are so tired that, it is tedious to search from so many sites and read all the jobs descriptions is time consuming. Sometimes u may even miss good opportunities coz of deadlines.
I don't know as to why people on this site are resisting change so much?. Let good things flow on this site instead of Canada vs India and Indian politics. Actually, majority of the new immigrants needs help with first job (Canadian exp) which is very difficult otherwise our country is perfect in every way inspite of 3-4 months of extreme cold and 10-15 inches of snow.

Nope. Please donot do it.
Some are just scam jobs where the recruiter will sell your name / phone number to telemarketers from India and you will start receiving desi scam calls.
People who need a job should know where to search for it and if that effort is not there, it will not be appriciated.
However, if you know of any insider jobs (where if an immigrant who has a job profile as advertised can get a job by you), then only advertize.
Like this I got one person from CD a job in my office (when the right time came and he was dealing with 3 staff quiting on the same week). There was no time to advertize and the person from CD had past experience in that job.
If you post every advt. you see, the whole purpose of CD will be lost. I know that getting jobs is also a purpose of CD, but no one knows if the jobs you post are scam jobs or not. We will abide by caution.
I am going to ignore any negetive comments that you may make, so please excuse.

I write this as a member of this board. (and not as a supposed moderator / owner of this website)
May be, if you know of any temporary labour jobs that can guarantee entry, you can post it for the numerous new immigrants / ladies looking for a job.
When I came to Canada in 2002, there was a youth festival of Christians were going on. For 10 days, they needed, some 2000 security guards. Someone from a labour camp told us of this oppertunity and we had to register near the airport. Whoever came in was selected. Pay was $ 8 an hour and 12 hour shifts. I worked for 10 days (you just stand under a tree for 12 hours and sometimes you get lunch also apart from free bottled water) and I got $ 1050. It was a very nice income and one which prompted me to stay for a longer time in Canada.
Pamam games is coming. They will soon hire security guards, guides, cleaners etc... A lot of unemployed people can get jobs. May be if you know this and if any opening is there is Loblaws , MaC Donalds, Tims, Subway, you can open a separate thread known as " Part time - Temp jobs in the GTA/ Toronto" and post details there.

Your intentions are noble but the approach is not practical. The jobs you posted are IT related and those in IT know where to look and who to approach. Most of the positions are for US, where new immigrants with Indian passport are not eligible.
By forwarding job openings of 1 particular recruiting agency, you are engaging in promotion of their business which is not allowed in Charcha. Also it is the modus operandi of free lance recruiters, also known as fishing - not different than those posted on major recruiting sites. You or they can use the classifieds section of Canadian Desi for such postings.
I am locking this thread for now. If you have other valid reasons (what you posted above are arguments, not reasons) please PM me and will reopen the thread if needed.
1 more request, please DO NOT post anyone's phone number on open forum. Interested individuals who need the contact details should be encouraged to contact you via PM.
