Folks ,

Noticed in the Metro - Mobilicity is offering their unlimited Province wide talk plan + NA text for $15 / mo from 1st May - 4th May 2015.

Also Motorola Moto E is offered for $99/- during these 4 days.

Do not know any links but major Mobilicity dealers are on the addresses esp those in Malls... This is for new activations only.

Wow.
Have the rates come down.
I remember paying Robbers $ 50 per month (with taxes) for a 100 min talk time (weekends and evenings free) as late as 2009.

How much generally (without deals) do you pay for your cellphone?

Good thing then in Canada. Though your salary has marginally gone up, the cost of living (mortgage, technology and possibly food prices) have come down.

Food prices come down??? :( who says so?? When I cme in 2009, Bread was $1.17, egg tray $1.27 and butter was $2.77 and now Bread is $1.99 (promotion) egg tray is $1.99 and butter is $3.47. Food prices have increased slowly and steadily.

Mobile phones deals have come a long long..way but with regds to TV programme, we need similar competitors but it is improving slowly and steadily.

Now we need buildings which has amenities and facilities close by so that, u don't have to take ur car every now and then. Just a thought.

These days most prefer to get a phone without a contract. Prices of phone have been on the rise, and that's mostly due to the fact that the newer phones have packed with tons of features. In fact phones are much more than just phones these days, so can't compare it to what was available 5 or 6 years ago. Unless offcourse you get a model that is slightly old, or not the latest but still great(est).

TK, You're a pro at Kijiji. Do a search on Samsung S4, S5, S6. Search for OnePlus. iPhone and check the prices.

:) ... While it is true that I derived my screen name from the posters all around when I landed here , I guess I am a CD Fido hence would recommend competition to CDs...

Like I noticed that Speakout 7-11 is giving an Acer Android 5.0 smartphone for $39/- currently if you buy a $100/- top up which lasts 365 days and can roll over if you keep your account active.

For emergency use , 7-11 is unbeatable $25/- top up lasts 01 year...
