I feel country style drinks quality is better than star bucks/tims. Tims is too much sugar.

Never ever buy used clothes, winter wears, shoes and bed/comforter coz people here have skin diseases so buy all these things new.

Salvation Army stuff are mostly given away stuff of people who are dead. So, unless u have come to Canada to become poor, don't buy clothes or winter wear etc. leave those stuff to poor people who has come as a refugee.

eat healthy fresh meal for $5.99 + TAX Thali in Brar/Rajdhani/ Bengal sweets. (4 vegs/salad/sweets/naan/rice. or buy 4.99+tax Medium pizza frm pizza pizza or if u want spicy like Indian style with ginger/garlic/green chili/coriander leaves thn moga pizza, and eat full day.

Just be sweet yourself and respect and love all, you don't have to change ur name ever. They wil start calling you by ur name. KG children call me by my name. No aunty or uncle business here. maximum they will call you by son/daughter mom. (for eg : my son name is Gopal so, I AM gopal mom for teacher, school and friends. )

Hi ,

I think close to sentinel road which is very close to York campus , there are lots of townhouses which are let out to students of York U ... This area is known as 'The Village' ... You should be able to get a private bedroom and a shared wash room / kitchen / garage ..Please check on kijiji.

If you can cook your own meals or organize to get the type of food that you want to have daily, you can get a place near by, just a walking distance from York and also be free yourself the agonies of the commute and be self sufficient at the same time. There are a lot of ready to eat meals and prepared foods are available for students and single working people all over Toronto. So, be guided by that.

Good Luck.
