Looking to travel to Mumbai in Dec (mid month). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure you meant that your trip was to INDIA.

There are tickets available currently to Mumbai from Toronto for $1165.

In my search, I came across a fare of 1990 for Mumbai, but the journey starts on the Friday the 28th Nov and return on the 2nd Jan 2015. That way you skip the Peak period. All the fares are in US Dollars.

There is a website by name YATRA that is selling their tickets out of India for $999 US and I am unable to access their website today.

Jet Airways will give you a ticket through Brussels to Mumbai.

Air Canada &-BA will provide you a trip on a B787 DREAMLINER from London. ENG.

EMIRATES will fly you on their A380 out of Toronto to Dubai and to BOM on a Boeing.

If you can skip the PEAK period, you can make it at a cost of $1200 +/-.
