I was with you until 'Think Positive', but lost at the later stanza.

My advise would be to go back if nothing works out within the first 5 years, and in the absence of a better plan.

There's only one life, why waste it to achieve something delusional.

what I meant is dont run like a coward immediately without giving it a try. :)

I see the word "Success" a lot on the internet. People talk a lot about it. I think its mostly the very young or people freshly graduated out of Uni who think of success in purely monetary terms and equate it with a good job and fringe benefits. It depends on how you define it, at different stages of your life!Thinking back on my life, the meaning of success has been constantly changing. I would say it was the achievement of several small goals that brought me to my present, and now moving beyond. I feel I have succeeded in what I set out to get from life so far. Part of this has been my struggles against the "self", and the wife who initially opposed every move into the unknown, she being a very conservative person. I had my hair-raisng moments, and then the satisfaction of coming out on top and seeing the wife happy at the end of it!
So, for new immigrants, I would say know the reasons why you want to take this big step. Then find out how you can achieve your goals. And always have a Plan B, and a Plan C as a fall-back option. Just moaning about things wont get you far!
Murali, I hear ya on the 'goris'! I find them simply gorgeous and cant stay away from them I am a bad man, but I dont believe I will be coming this way again. For the pious ones will get their rewards in Paradise, but sinners like us have Canada ;)

Very true.

Thinking about my life at this stage, thanking God, my parents and grandparents for giving me this life and praying to them for good health and well being of my family is my top most priority. We call it "Pithru Tharpanam". They too have been kind to me, even though I failed miserably in Canada, to put my family back on track and give my children good life.

Could I have this religious option to solve my problems, had I been in Canada or given my children an opportunity to know about their religion and use the same in their everyday life? Not sure.
