Just thinking loud, why not try Australia now even after settling here in Canada, can't really answer but "Why not"... small world, why not enjoying living different worlds...
I tried to settle in 3 places so far (US, India/Middle East / now Canada), I realize it was more fun trying to settle than being settled.
Well, I know it puts stress on kids but see the kids of diplomats, businessmen who settle easily in the new place...
Perhaps, the friendship circle (for us and the kids) is one of the major deterring factor which I enjoyed both in US and Canada, the circle is what I really missed in US when moved on than anything else.. Honestly..

I personally like the thought process .. during the stint of expat for 5-6 years, I dreamt of 'settling' at one place. After 'settling' in Canada , I have started to dream again of roaming. No harm in thinking of second immigration. Many people come to Canada to do second immigration to US. It depends on your job skills which can take you places. Australia as of today provides better job opportunities than Canada. Situation will not be same in coming years.
