I am looking for some suggestions / ideas for Team Volunteer activities. Each year our team (at work) volunteer for a charity work (it is part of our corporate team building strategy).
Last couple of years we've tried Soup Kitchen and Toy Sorting at Salvation Army.
There are some activities that require donation like planting trees (costs 50$ per participant), we are trying to avoid those as our team is out of budget.
Hope I can get some ideas by Oct 30, as we have to start organising the event.
I don't mind taking my team to volunteer at a Gurdwara (for example), but need more details about what would be required.

A few questions that come to mind are:
1. How large is the team
2. What are people's availability for week day / weekend
3. How many hours is the team intending to volunteer (daily, weekly, monthly etc)
4. What are the physical boundaries (i.e. Toronto, GTA, Ontario...)
5. Any constraints on the type of work

1 - Team of 20
2- Weekdays only - between 9-5
3- Once a year, for this ask - 2-3 hours
4- Location Toronto Downtown preferred but anything within Toronto also possible
5- No constraints
