Sorry for repeating the question....
But what are your views on Air Traffic Controller as a profession?
Nivi,
I doubt any Canadiandesi is an air trafffic controller, and that's why no one replied to your question yet.
I had read somewhere that it is one of the most stressful jobs on the planet, especially in North Amerca where flying is such a common form of travel. Also, I can tell you it would require a high degree of security clearance from the govt. before you are even considered for the job, beause of all the safety concerns.
Besides that, can't say much more since I don't have any specifics. Maybe google can help.

Are you there?
Thank You very much Blue Lobster, the reason I asked the question was that I had been selected for the same and just wanted to know the prospects and whether joining it would be the right decision for a fresh desi.
Actually i applied for ATC job and went for there written exam in Ottawa. Honestly telling you if you are desi .. its hard to get this job. I mean i have a Masters degree and 2 years of customer ser. exp. but still they didn't invite me for an interview. I mean it was my experience. I could be wrong but i think its a good job. Good money but lots of work. I think you should apply and go for there written exam first man.
Take care....
Cheers

Thanx Nutty
Is there an age bar or something and how difficult is the exam?
There is no age bar for this job. I m assumig u r not in ur 40s or 50s. Anyhow the exam is pretty easy the only thing matter during the exam is how fast and how accuratly u solve the problems in limited time period. You can get sample paper and all other information at NAVCANADA website: http://www.navcanada.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK
