Because US govt. was caught unaware and slept on the ego couch till 11th hour, and got up only on splash of tanked economy.
Question is will US let it happen to herself once again ? if answer is yes, hug your children everyday when you reach your overpriced or even double asset home in the evening.
Eur is struggling but thing is they accept they are struggling and every quarter joining the heads to do bail outs, print money and counter foil the immediate negatives.
Personally, I have stopped believing all numbers and charts for sometime now, Numbers will tell what happened in past but cannot clearly tell what will happen. only if it was that easy!, it is not maths question to be resolved with set formula discovered in past. On ground situation, knowledge and attitude of leaders are the factors which is defining today's economic situations. New guys in France and Greece are my point of interest.
One reality check question which is raised in this forum time and again is - How many of us have not bought home yet, waiting for housing prices to go down and since when ? lets start calculating that person's gain !
