For second possibility (which is more likely) try to get yourself evaluated – through mock interviews, getting feedback after unsuccessful interview etc. Record your mock interview and watch it to see where you can improve.
If no one is giving you even a volunteer opportunity – there is something seriously missing.
@ venrasq , your post is very generic post which outlines frustration and feeling of most of the new comers in Canada.
I am sure almost 90% of the CD forum members have gone through what you are going through right now and I am also sure that most of them have succeeded in the getting good jobs either in their own field or related field after initial struggle.
If you can post your qualification / education back ground and the field in which you are looking for a job then someone on this forum can guide you properly, else you will get generic moral support reply only.
Yes ,
Please post your qualification , experience & education back ground and the field in which you are looking for a job in ... This will make the picture more comprehensive .

I would strongly advise people coming here make prior arrangements for job.. or you are going to run thro your savings. Speaking from experience.
Thank you all. Will take your advices. Was in Admin field with Finance Dept for 5 years, and last 2 years of my career as Accounts Receivables. Prior to the 7 years, 5 years as PA in a Construction Company.
