Job Description
Researches, designs, and develops computer software systems in conjunction with hardware product development.

* Participates and contributes actively in Analysis, design and code reviews for small-medium size systems.
* Effectively works with internal and external customers to troubleshoot problems.
* Uses accepted, or identifies software tools and methods to test, debug and document applications.
* Demonstrates ability to learn and maintain current code base.
* Develops medium-large software applications and utilities.
* Directs small-moderate sized Engineering projects.

* Collaborates with Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and Q&R on product performance requirements, design, test and development activities.

* Three plus years experience with C and C++.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly flexible, quality driven, goal oriented and able to participate in a team environment.

Education Required
* BS Computer Science, BSEE and five years of related experience or equivalent combination of software development experience and relevant education (ex. AAS and 7 years).

Work Experience Required
* Five years of related software development experience.
* Three plus years experience with C and C++.

Work Experience Preferred
* Experience with Microsoft technology (C#, MFC, .Net, Remoting, etc).
* Experience with VxWorks or Real Time Programming.
* Ability to create heuristic and algorithmic programs.

Job Description
Mechanical engineer responsible for product development for the automation and machine design industry.
Less than 10% travel required.

Skills Required
* Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Pro-Engineer.
* Instrumentation: Labview, load cells, displacement transducers, accelerometers, pressure/flow sensors, inspection equipment etc.
* Analytical skills focused in mechanics, dynamics, vibration, materials and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
* Strong leadership skills.
* Good communication skills (oral and written).

Work Experience Required
* 5+ years of mechanical design experience in automation and machine design.
* Setting up and testing mechanical systems (static, dynamic and thermal).
* High accuracy positioning systems.
* Various manufacturing processes (i.e. precision machining, casting, sheet metal, molding, welding, brazing etc).
