Reading your website about speaking to a Customer Service Rep in a foreign country and requesting to speak with a Canadian Service Rep being the law; apparently Service Reps in India are not aware of this.
It may be the law in Canada but it doesn't look like it is the law in India. (in this case anyway)
I had trouble with a D-Link router which I had just purchased. I could not register on their website and kept being told that my email address was already taken. Since I had never purchased from them before, I knew there was a problem. After speaking with their Service Rep who I had trouble understanding, I asked to be transferred to a Canadian Rep and he refused and refused to allow me to speak with his supervisor even though he left me on hold for a few minutes to speak with his supervisor himself. He was not able to figure out my problem either even though I allowed him remote access to my computer which I must say I was rather apprehensive about. I returned the router.
So you see, it ain't necessarily so.
