Modi need not be "relevant" outside Gujarat. He has taken Gujarat to great heights and if only each state has a Narendra Modi, especially Tamil Nadu, India can eradicate poverty. Gujarat's prosperity is heard in far-off Bangladesh, that people there don't want to limit their inflitration and illegal immigration only upto West Bengal or Assam. They travel ticketless in train as far as Mumbai and Gujarat. When they gang up to stage a Godhra, we cannot expect ordinary peace loving citizens to be law abiding all the time. There is bound to be some reaction.
