Watched this movie today. While it does raises interesting points, about the wall street dominance and meltdown and co-op business, it is lopsided just like any other Michael Moore documentary. I wish it took time to examine both sides of the coin.
It also raised an interesting point about plutocracy v/s democracy.
Does anybody know how far the points raised and issue presented are valid? Does Canadian economy/government work in same way as US does?
The points are mostly valid and presented in the satirical humour of a Michael Moore movie, however, it is not as good as 9/11.
9/11 was way better in terms of presentation, content and delivery.
I also thought that the movie ran out of steam towards the end as he started comparing capitalist and "democratic socialist".
The final few minutes of the movie were a total waste where he projects Obama's presidential campaign.
At that point, Moore (or anyone else for that matter) could not have known exactly what Obama was going to do and how things would turn out.
Now almost 2 years into Obama's term and a lot of that initial euphoria seems to have vanished and hard realities have hit home.

"Mah deah, there is much more money to be made in the destruction of civilization than in building it up."
-- Rhett Butler in "Gone with the Wind"
I did not watched any other movie by this director except the "Capitalism - A Love Story"
He has very well explained the 'Modus Operandi' of the rich capitalist people and companies. Also, he has very well brought out the exploitation of poor mases by the rich class.
I am convinced that Canadian system also work on the same lines as Americans, and Canadian are a step ahead due to getting the outside money into the system via Immigration and selling its raw resources.
Only differneces are that population in Canada is less as compared to USA and the infrastructue is able to support it. Canada has very very small army expense. Canadian companies are not as competitive as American or British, hence they could not invest/move out the Canadian wealth as their American counterparts have done it.
