Can some one advice me with following

1) Is it possible to join a university for higher studies with PR status?
2) What can be possible source of earning during that period?
3) Is it a good idea?

If you provide some more details (what course, where are you right now, what kind of work are you thinking about) someone might be able to help you better.

Yes, very much. PRs and Citizens pay the same tuition. As long as you have a required eligibility for that course academically. Go to a particular university site that you're interested in and then look for the eligibility criteria. This is the most important aspect. Other things, like study loan (OSAP, if you're in ON) are hence secondary.

Again, look for the university site for this. For some courses and universities, it is 20 hours/week part time employment within the university campus. Alternatively, if you look for a part time studies then you can work full time simultaneously. You need to work really hard on time management for the latter.

In my opinion, any full time education in Canada is a good option. Others may differ. However, it all boils down to your family priorities, finances, and your own acumen.

Hope it helps.
