In the childhood a complete "toli" of dogs were behind my and other kids bike when we were riding to early tuition classes. And remember those 7-14 needles? that time you had to take those shots on butt after dog/cat bite.
I witnessed a pet dog literally chewing nuts of other kid and that incident makes still me nervous \especially some of the pet dogs are of that specific height.
Nope I don't have nerves to get a dog no matter what size, they can easily reach one the most important part of my body.
Exactly.

The biggest reason, why we don't like dogs (or rather like less) is -
We like humans, our family relationship has the strongest bonding in the world. Look at the call volume, towards India, China, neighboring countries etc. it enormous (& similar comparison to Europe is negligible). We don't need fathers day or mothers day, etc etc to wish them. We have lots of high priority stuff, than love a dog or cat or guinea-pig or hamster or .........
In Europe, North America, Japan, pet ownership is high, because they kindof help in replacing lonliness, for companionship, etc.etc.......
Also, In India, we have child (or babies to take care off & love). Love your child, rather than loving your dog & ignoring your child.
Here they get a dog, & thats it, no kids............, or Sometimes we come across situation where The kid says "My mom-dad don't love me". Both parents are busy working & child is left ignored being taken care by the nanny. Love for dog has no meaning, when it comes at the cost of Child's attention.

I Love dogs. As long as it is not mine.
Do you also notice? We in India call a dog 'it', not 'he' or 'she', like folks here.

I am all for pets. We had cats for 8 years and enjoyed every moment of it. It was enjoyable to watch my cat bond with my new born at that time and watch them both grow and play together. We referred our cats as he and she and they were very much part of our family.
