Raavan:
Starring Abhishek Bhachan as Rama; Vikram as Raavan; Aishwarya Bhachan as Sita; Govinda as Hanuman to name a few.
It is the modern version of Ramayana but in the end Sita falls for Raavan.
Music is very mediocre and not the high standards set by AR Rahman.

Good time for all the Right Wing Fundamentalist Hindu Parties in India to protest this movie.
Initial draw is not there for this movie but hope it grows by word to mouth.
MAY BE MANI RATNAM SHOULD ASK FOR PAKISTANI MOVIE ACTORS TO ACT IN BOLLYWOOD AND THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY SHIV SENA'S PROTEST.
This will ensure all the Secularists NRI's in North America will throng the albion mall and pay the 12 bucks to watch this movie.
Hope Mani would have learnt a lesson from MNIK.

Sunny Leone a true Canadian DESI now back in India !.
I think Songs & initial promos are looking good
Hope movie is better
Remember last Mani's movie GURU
I am looking forward for this movie
Also I think some correction required -
Abhishek is playing Raavan while Vikram is playing Ram
But not 100% sure about this
What I heard is Abhishek is playing negative role. Please read this -

Wonder which Ramayan role they will fit Daddy Bacchan in?
Jatayu?

"My name is Khan" is hardly considered a hit movie.
I think SRK had to bank on Hindi-Urdu speaking populace to make his movie hit. Mani Ratnam normally also makes a Tamil version of same movie and hence outreach is almost same number-wise.
