Thanks guys. I will get it shipped from Winnipeg then. I was planning to get them directly from India, but since my cousin was already on his way, I thought to take his help in bringing it to Canada.

Just as a fyi, last month my father-in-law in India couriered some ayurvedic medicines to Canada for my spouse. They were delivered here by Canada Post without any issues. The package was marked as having been opened and inspected by Canada Customs. The medicines were sent without any doctor's prescription. I don't think ayurvedic/homeopathic medicines need any prescriptions.
