Hi NM,

No mortgage, these are straight cash deals.

Median house price data does not take into account foreclosures and short sales. The latter is where the investment opportunities are. Average house pice is between $10K - $20K CASH.

You are looking at demographics for Detroit, but the rental market in the suburbs is actually very strong and the population has not changed much over the last few years.
