First of all JRF, that was really a mature comment, I cannot agree less. I thought post would end there but fun continues....Also you can see that there are not only trigger happy followers but trigger happy opposes as well.

You got 2 things mixed up. Requirement of official state language for the locals by Thakres and the issuance of taxi permits who understand the local official language by congress.
It was never a requirement for visitors to speak in marathi to taxi drivers or for that matter to whoever a visitor deals with. Now for the taxi drivers marathi may be needed because traffic signs and rules are posted in the local language (like in Quebec it is in French, in Tamilnadu it is in Tamil).
Now every state has its own official language along with national language.
The oppose is not and will never be for Hindi or any other language, oppose is for reluctance to accept Marathi as state language when you are local and living there for generations.
BOTTOM LINE IS -
MNS or Shivsena hardly cares for people in Mumbai
They just want to take political advantage by creating Terror !
Important question - when 26/11 attack happen, all this so called MNS & ShivSena people were hiding or went underground
There is enough proof to media or people in Mumbai about same
I will Never support such people
They are nothing but CRIMINALS

Agreed about politics and hatred towards such parties. For that matter it is very rare to find a politician without criminal background. But unfortunately they get the support from locals.
About 26/11, in your opinion What should Shivsainiks, MNS or for that matter any political party have done? Go in front of terrorists and ask them to shoot me? Or cause another riots? When Delhi attacks happened, what did congress do there?

Hatred towards Senas on language uproar is one thing but blaming them for anything bad happens in Mumbai is absurd.
(M2611? what a coicidence, you commented about Mumbai 26/11 and your ID matches M2611...maybe it was changed it after 2611, anyhow.)
