I, along with my wife would like to join a gym in Mississauga. I am looking for a gym where I can pay on a month to month basis instead of a contract. Do any of my fellow desis have a good experience with a gym here?

I live five minutes north of square one, and wouldn't mind driving about 10 minutes to the gym.

I am a member of YMCA - (square one) and i like it go there. Its inexpensive plus flexible no need to do any contract and anytime you can stop and restart again without any additional fee.

google it and call them may will help you out little bit...

How much is the membership fee, and is there a registration fee? Is there a "family rate" at YMCA?

last when i called, i was quoted about $90 per month for a family of 4 people. look at the facilities they have.

Check with LA Fitness, it is probably 5 minutes drive from your place.
No annual commitments, it goes month to month and it appears they have a promotion for families. Check it out.

It appears that they have a plan for $50 month for two in a family.

It is a good gym but it doesn't have pool / squash etc.,

Consider joining a community center, again it is month to month and it would cost you about $66 for both of you. It has pretty much every thing what you could expect in YMCA (Esp.., RiverGrove community center).
