That's a timeshare deal. There are tons of such deals. As long as you leave your wallet at home and don't get pressurized the the sales guys.

I do not recommend going to Disney in July, esp. if this is your first visit.
Between the heat, humidity and the extreme crowds, it's not worth it IMO.
Fall or Spring are better times for first visit.
Subsequent visits, when you are mostly hanging out or going to selected events/parks, summer's probably ok.
I've been there in every season and bang in the middle of summer vacations is the least enjoyable if you want to see all the parks.

For $249.00 plus tax, get 03 nights stay at Radisson World Resort

Deluxe room with Sleep number bed(s) by Select Comfort
Complimentary breakfast at our 68 item breakfast buffet on the morning of your escorted tour.
 Two Touch of Magic Walt Disney World passes good for two entries each into any Disney park
Two one day admissions to any Disney Water Park
Two Tickets to the world famous Arabian Nights Dinner show

To get this package (otherwsie valued at over $900) you must take a brief two hour preview, including a full buffet breakfast, of our new executive suites. Not taking your tour will result in a charge to your credit card of 129.00 per night and you will not receive your gifts.

Normally if you take Time shre Promotion deal thn you will get your tickets after you compl. your tour. So, if you want to take this deal make sure you take this tour on very first day of your arrival ( Most of the time you will not be allowed to take the tour on first day of your stay) so basically choice is yours.
I took time sahre deal without tickets ( I bought tickets direct from Disney), and everything was great, we stayed in a wonderful resort just for USD 39.00/night.

There are hotels and motels all along the major highways that lead into florida I-75, I-85, I-10.
what kind of recommendation are you looking for?
most hotels and motels are standard in their amenities based on the star rating.
check out CAA star ratings to understand what's included.

It would depend on various factors:

1. What time are you leaving GTA (I assume GTA, since that's your location)
2. How long do you want to drive
3. Do you want to drive straight or take a slight detour and visit other places

Generally when I travel, I book at Choice Hotels. Things I keep in mind are proximity to highway (Ezee on-off), complimentary breakfast, Free Wi-Fi and room rates. You'd usually get a cheaper room in small towns and away from large cities, without compromising the quality.

Last December when I drove to Orlando, we started late afternoon, so my 1st stop was around Pittsburg (6 hrs), since we wanted to visit the Pittsburg Temple. I didn't want to drive more than 11hrs, so I made a 2nd night halt at South Carolina.

On the way back, all I wanted to do is get back home, so I had just one halt mid-way.

If you haven't, sign up on Choice Hotels and collect points each time your stay. http://www.choicehotels.com/

There are various hotel chains which you can try:

Super 8 Motel
Red Roof Inn
Best Western
Holiday Inn
Hampton Inn
America's best Inn's & Suites
Travel Lodge

Once you decide on a place, check the net for reviews for that particular location.

PM me if you want to hear about my driving experience and other tips about visiting Walt Disney World
