I am SAP SD consultant with 1 & 1/2 yrs. Implementation experience. I also have 17 yrs. functional experience.


How is the market for my profile right now in Mississauga ?

Will I be still considered new in SAP ?

Presently I am in India.

If you are still working in India, then stick to your job and gain more experience. Canadian market is very mature and client want skills in multi modules and bit of ABAP skills like LSMW, debugging etc.

As such Canadian SAP market is very small and getting a break is very difficult!!

Just go through few jobs sites like www.monster.ca and workopolis.com etc to get the idea of sap market in Canada.

One more question. How is the market for SAP users? Can I get a job as expert SAP user with a company who has implemented sap for their use.

Sunil,

Getting a Job as a expert user will also be difficult in present situation. Canadian Emloyer's believe in multi-tasking. They will not hire anybody as expert user only. They will try to send somebody for SAP user training during the time of Implementation.
However, you can try your luck.
