Toronto is much much better then mumbay. But I think u don't have enough experience of other cities thats y ur approach is very limited.

One likes the place where he/she grew up or born.. a simple answer

i just returned from india ... i visited after 5 years and am very surprised with the change ...i did not go to mumbai but delhi iteslf has changed a lot for the better ....new malls , excellent roads , world class metro , much less pollution.... of course problems of electricity and water, slums and overcorwding still remain and it is hard to comapre it with toronto but there are certain sentimantal things about Delhi/Mumbai which is hard to find anyplace in the world .... for sentimental reasons Toronto cannot beat either delhi or mumbai but for the sake of living for long term ...its Toronto for sure .
