I dont know too much as dont have a house yet but from what i heard 2 suggestions are :

1. Keep heating on at low so that water in pipes does not freeze and burst.
2. Have someone turn your car on and drive a bit once a week or so depending on your car condition.
3. I dont see any issues with light (could be off)
4. Gas : I am not sure.

One thing you can do is turn off Gas, Electricity (if you don't have home security installed) and Water at the main shut off.

After that, burn the heater and open the taps so that any water/gas in the pipes are used up... thereby leaving the pipes dry...

Have some friends/neigbours check on the house on weekends, if possible...

I was away for four weeks during Winters. My neighbour was clearing my sidewalk almost everyday and I was in India enjoying nice weather.

I left my furnance on with 62F temperature. Do not shut the water from the main.
Lights were off except I have night lights on all the floor and they glow bright during the night.

My car was in my garage. My friend used to come every week and start it for few minutes and take a round of the house (upstairs to basement).

I informed neighbours on both side and gave my friend's car #. They used to pick up paper outside my house. Good neighbours (one is Srilankan and other one is Vietnamese) that one always wants to have.
