News of such kind are not new. At same time, it still hurts to see so many innocent lives lost.
- Wonder if "somebody" deliberately started the bomb hoax, as the following chaos was anticipated as Jaipur/Banglore/A'bad/Delhi/Modasa bomb blast are fresh in people's memory
- As a cynic, I always see this as irony. God himself could not protect his devotee. At such times, you start to question your own belief in God
To question our belief in our god and to get frustrated at god is what exactly the terrorists want. And Hindus as a community do not have anybody to advise them on protecting themselves.
Even if there was somebody, most of the Hindus would question his caste background. That's when other advisers take their place. What we have today is the Poojaris and the swamis most of whom would advise you rituals and mantras to keep the demons away. Another adviser is the Politician who on one side preach Hindus to maintain calm and peace at any cost (even if they loose their lives) and then upon following what they advise, the Hindus are too happy to say, see we are very tolerant and we forget the past we are proud to be the most peaceful people in the world.
Just when that happens, some people are who are suspected of being behind the terror or hoax and are picked up for interrogation. Mere taunting questions by the media and politicians about why a purticular minority community is targeted for interrogation is enough to put the Hindus on the defensive and we stop protecting ourselves so that we do not make the minority community feel insecure. And when we don't protect, we have more attacks by these extremists. The proof are the nonstop hoaxes, blasts and attack on our BSF gaurding our country. We simply don't know how to react.
And I think it is because of our own making. Its called Psuedo Secularism and this is what we have to start disbelieving.
Enough said. I am sorry to have taken this too far. But you know, if you really really look at it, one can get crazy amd histerical like I have become. I really hope I am wrong and the situation in India is better than what I imagine it to be.
My post was about innocent lives lost. It was about a tragedy that was preventable. Remember, the tragedy could be worse had it been an event like "Kumbh Mela". Government - state or federal level - should take enough security measures to ensure that such tragedy does not happen again.
Please refrain from giving "us v/s them" twist to my posting
