can any one please let me know about taking chemotherapy in toronto.
can the govt provide the treatment for new immigrant as soon as they arrive or need to wait for 3 months till the health card activates. if we bring medicine from india to take chemo will private clinic give. it takes only 15 min.
will they make an issue at the airport during arrival.
the medical is done ealier that time the person was totaly fit and fine.and the pt doesn't look sickat present.

There is a 3-month waiting period before the coverage begins. Before that you have to pay for visit to hospitals, etc. You can buy private insurance but that will not cover any pre-existing conditions.
Alternatively you can land in a province like Manitoba which covers permanent residents from day one.
