Hi,
I have twice returned from Canada due to lack of doctors. Is it possible to get treatment in Canada.Family doctors dont take new patients thats a fact. Forget the websites with doctors list, its oboslete. Any idean how can one find a DOCTOR and plus get treatment withou waiting endlesslessly in ERs. I have all health cards and they are pieces of scrap when no doctor is avaialble to see you.Walkin clinincs spend more time in writing your card number than their doctors looking at you.
Any suggestions my friend as India is much advanced that way.
Hi !
If you give your location we will be able to provide reference / help ..
Its true that to see a specialist it might take months .
One has to pay hefty amounts to get service in India whereas on the contrary medical services including expensive drugs ( while u r admitted ) are free of charge in Canada .
Whenevr I visited my Dr. I had met many patience who came just to do a regular checkup (they say Oh its free so I thought lemme cnfm if all ok ) hence increasing the wait time for people who are really in need ,,

Check with the following clinics
Shoppers World Medical Centre
Suite 106
499 Main Street South
Brampton ON L6Y 1N7
(905) 796-6570
and
Suite 6
900 Ray Lawson Boulevard
Brampton ON L6Y 5H7
(905) 454-3664
You can go to any walk in clinic to get medical care in case you are sick ( cough & cold stuff) .... you need not have a family doctor for that. It is only in case you need long time medical care ( having high blood pressure / diabetic etc) that you definitely require a family physician
And they are looking for patients. But they are near North York General Hospital on Leslie just north of the 401. If you are interested - PM me for details.
