I said "assumption" and not "requirement".
And for that reason the TN holders have to renew the Visa every year. The job letter have to mention that the job is for a year or less. If your job letter does not have any indication about the job period, your application will be deined.
And if you say, yes I like USA, and I am planning to Buy a house in USA and will be staying there for another 15 years, the officer can and will reject you.
My point is TN is a temporary work Visa and the applicant must return to home country and have not itention of making US home.
