Hi,

I believe it's difficult to predict USD/CAD exchange rate in coming months but would appreciate if you could advice me or provide any link for the expected trend/forecast.
I am planning to convert about USD 20K to CAD and would like to know whether USD to CAD exchange rate could go down further or not in coming weeks/month.

Current rate: 1 USD = 1.00779 CAD

This my take on the exchange rate but please do not hold me responsible if it does not go that way.

Currently the dollar is at parity with USD as the OLR in Canada is higher in Canada. Come March and everyone is expecting 50 basis point rate cut. This should bring the CAD down to levels of 97 to 98 cents. Inversely 1USD would get you 1.03 CAD. But then you never know what Ben and co would do next!
