Can anyone recommend a good online Discount Brokerage which is not expensive. Right now i'm using TD Waterhouse and they charge $29 for every stock trade.
You could check interactive Brokers Canada or Think or Swim, Canada
I am in the process of opening one with Questrade. The comm. is $4.95 per trade for 500 shares and 1c per share thereafter OR $9.95 flat for any number of shares. That is real low low. They also allow an RRSP without annual admin fees and also offer a RRSP in USD (if you are in US stocks).

I am in the process so as soon as it is open and I fund it I shall send you a PM. You can fund the account from any third party bank through EFT (bill payment).
