Can any body please give me some information Re: CISA Qualification? i.e. what are the prerequisites, how many papers does one have to write, how much techi background is necessary? Do you need any practical experience?
also information as to training material and classes if any in TO.
My own background is Indian C.A.
One and all input welcome.
Thanks for help in advance

http://www.isaca.org/Template.cfm?Section=CISA_Certification&Template=/TaggedPage/TaggedPageDisplay.cfm&TPLID=16&ContentID=4526
Thanks Lana
I have been on that site, but sometimes web information can be overwhelming
Can you please comment on on how many exams are there in CISa for example in CPA you write 4 papers and where do I get the books and study material as well the sample questions CD etc
Thanks
I talked to 2 different guys who passed CISA at first shot. Pl note that CISA frequently changes/ updates syllabus and hence it is advisable to buy latest version thouh it would cost money. Stumbling block is to get license for which you have to have considerable on the job experince to be certified by your supervisors. It has tremendous potential provided you are in "right" kind of job. The best course for you is to join any of the "big 4" accounting firms and then write exam at their cost! They can provide you opportunity to pursue your exam and certification
