Salam E Ishq is a decent movie good for one visit. The director Nikhil Advani the ex-assistant of Karan Johar has done a good job. The quality of hindi movies are improving day by day. The best pair of the movie are Sohail Khan and Isha Kopikar.
The last title scene is a RIOT not to be missed. Akshaye Khanna has done a great job and has shades of Robert DeNiro in Taxi Driver.
The music is quite good by Shankar Eshan Loy, with the title song by Adnan Sami reminiscent of RD Burman.
Eventhough movie tends to drag through is some periods it has its small moments like Salman with Priyanka interaction with Karan Johars phone coming through and the final proposal scene.
It is another good watch in the series of Sirf 24 Gaante, Corporate and Iqbal.

Doesn't seem like DIO posted his review of this movie here but I have to agree with everything he said. I watched this movie yesterday, my god what a waste of time. Do yourself a favour and do not put yourself through the torture of it.
shankaracharya, I cannot believe you are comparing ANYTHING in this movie to a classic like Taxi Driver...

Watched over the weekend. That was a torture. Thanks god I saw it on the DVD. Otherwise it would have been waste of money and headache medicines.
The director Nikhil Advani should be first hanged and then shot, just to make sure that he is dead. What was he thinking when he made this movie? What message was he trying to convey? After all there are too many dumb desis who would see this crap. No wonder he made this movie. Editing is horrible. There is no relation between majority of the scenes. Salman and others have sleep walked thru their roles as there is nothing to act. Overall boring, painful, and immature work.
Music is ok I guess. Adnan Sami could retire from singing. Same old same old.
Comparing this idiotic movie with other good movies such is an insult to the intelligence of the other directors.
