For anybody who loves watching crime & thriller movies, "The Departed" is absolutely a must-watch.
THe star cast is great - Jack Nicholson, Leonardo De Caprio, Matt Damon, Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg & Alec Baldwin. The acting is first rate, direction and story are equally good too. The movie is an adaptation of a Hongkong movie. It deals with the Irish Mafia in Boston.
People who have watched "Don" & "Drohkaal" may find some similarity. This movie is certainly not a family movie - it has lots of profanity and violence.

Agreed. saw the Departed last night. had heard great reviews about it. Loved the movie, well made. Specially Jack Nicholson and Leonardo caprio. Well acted.
Yeah, really good movie. Bit gory though. I guess it wasn't meant to be a 'happily ever after' movie.

Watched it last week and loved it. Nicholson's a genius as always...I particularly liked Dicaprio in the movie.

Yes Decaprio did act well. I was talking to my friends and we agreed he just might get an award for this movie.
