Hi,

I have seen and heard a bit about ING Direct and their savings schemes and it sure does seem to me to be a good proposition.

Any experience (good or bad) with them that can be shared on this forum...

hi Trinity,

we do have a account with energy direct since 6- months, and no problems.
we feel, it is better then td and other banks who only give u interst of 0.05 % ,where as this bank gives 3.75%( i am not sure about the correct figures).


but since it is hard to find the service of energy direct every where, it is better to have some money in a td account for day to day shopping, but keep moving ur saving in energy direct .

I have been having a account at ING direct and i am satisfied with it. The Customer service is good (24 hrs. a day). Even once when i wanted a bank statement at midnight, they faxed it to my office the same day morning at 8:30 am. I am an Internet person and hence ING bank is very comfortable to me. I applied for RRSP loans, Line of credits etc... right over the internet.

PC Financial bank now gives 4.0% rate of interest for savings account over $1000 and a bonus amount every anniversary. You might want to check that out.
