I had this dishnetwork satellite where I used to get 13 indian channels, but for last two months [approx.] it is dead, no signal. This dish had cardless receiver.
Now when I contacted the guy who installed it, he is asking me to buy another receiver with "Yellow card"for apprx 325C$.
Anyone has any suggestions or any feedback on this yellow card???

Welcome aboard, I am in the same ship. The only difference is that my 'cable wala' is giving out the 'yellow card' receiver for $150.
Let me know if you find anyone who has the cheat for the cardless receiver.

I am in the same boat, I want to know if someone can reprogram this cardless receiver or update the keys it is being down for two months now and I paid $360 for the receiver can someone please help me and give me phone number of someone who can reprogram the receiver.

yellow card receiver for 150$ is the cheapest I have heard until now.
Is it reliable, do u hv the phone number???
Currently (as of August 8th), there is no solution for a cardless receiver. The only solution out there is for card sharing.
A cardless solution is expected. Timeline is anyones guess. I'd suggest wait and watch in which direction this whole thing is heading, before jumping ship.

Where did you hear about solution for cardless receiver? Any vague idea about how much time it might take, My mother in law is visiting from INDIA and there is no TV. You can imagine my evenings after whole day at work

Although they've been talking about a fix (which is just around the corner) for a while, you need to take it with a pinch of salt. Only when I see the fix, will I trust someone (atleast on this issue).
