Hi
I would like to know if one can get a job as a tshirt printer in toronto.
My nationality is portuguese and I live in uk
Im considering to move to canada(toronto)within 2 years.
And is it difficult for a portuguese passport holder to get visas to live in canada?
Can any one kindly answer my query?
Thanks

You have posted a question at wrong place. We have immigration section where you can ask your questions to experts.

As per my thinking you should not have any problem.

ONLY the City Of Toronto has good public transit. Every where else it sucks! Trust me. Most of the time busses come every hour. Toronto is amazing, frequency is amazing.

If we don't consider for Mississauga and nearby cities, what other choices we have please explian, as for consideration to School language, business opportunities and other needs.

Please suggest me any city except to these big cities, where we can get proper school education and business.

Garvo is right.

Toronto area is the BEST. No doubt about it.

If you are in mississauga, You have to pay two fare (one for mississauga and one for TTC) to reach Toronto Downtown.

I have been there but dont like at all.

Go to Sadbury! As no indians live there you have lots of business opportunities. Schools I have no idea.

I too feel that for a newcomer, specially without a car, staying in Toronto makes much more sense. The TTC is fantastic as compared to Mississauga transit. If you depend on public transportation, and live in Mississauga and work downtown, you have to take the GO train which is much more expensive or go to Islington subway. I have been in Toronto for over two years and am able to manage well without a car. Not having a car has helped me save towards a downpayment for a house (specially considering the high auto insurance rates). Besides, i live at a place which is closeto a number of small stores, 2 grocery stores (No Frills and Food Basics) and the subway is a 7 minute walk. I dont think I would be able to survive without a car living in Mississauga/ Brampton.
