I know that BCIT in Vancouver is good for its engineering/technical courses. Don't know about Ryerson in Toronto, though.

I would go with BCIT, but that's because I live in Vancouver area!

Ryerson is well known for Engineering and Technology. It used to be a polytechnic college and few years ago it was given a status of a univeristy. It is located in downtown toronto and considered as one of the best engineering universities in Canada.

I don't know anyone who has done the BComm course so cannot comment much on the course but I do know that Ryerson has a 1 yr MComm degree. This degree is offered with partnership from Cisco.

we must understand the basic fact that university in Canada has a better standard and more acceptability in the industry. There is no doubt about the fact RYERSON UNIV is better.UOT and waterloo have a much higher standard than Ryerson and Ryerson is considered to have a higher std in engg than York univ. The basic fact is university is always better than college----NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
