Hi

If you need pal-ntsc dvd converter Buy the Liteon 5005(from Wal-mart, $164.00) DVD Recorder( it can record NTSC/PAL and it has Ilink aslo).

To make it region free

Enter set-up screen by pressing setup on the Remote Control.
2. Move cursor to 'Exit'
3. Using remote control: key 2,9,6,0
4. On pop-up menu select 'Region Free'
5. Hit Setup again to go close setup menu.

and enjoy you PAL and NTSC movies on you NTSC TV.

Yesterday I brought one , I did not know it could convert PAL->NTSC( after it was made region free)
Enjoy you PAL DVDs if have

Hi, I do not have much knowledge abt this. I dont really completly understand what u wrote....but I understand a bit. I think u r saying that we can watch DVD that works with indian system and DVD from here, we can watch both, without getting them converted first.

I want to buy a dvd player for use in india only. Any suggestion which one can work in india, with indian tvs and voltage ?

Thanks

Yes it can work in india also. It has built in 110-220V and it can record and Play PAL also. I guess I wont be able to record from TV signals from India as it has NTSC tuner .

IF you want to use in India and if you want to record TV Signals . :-
If your TV has Audio/Video output you can connect to the recorder and record it , or else connect a VCR in between ( as it need Pal TUNER) and use the Audio/Video output from VCR to connect to the recoder

Most of Yash Raj distributing DVDs are made as region free.
