I am not an intellectual person but let me take a shot. Consider example of Parsis in Gujarat. They came in as immigrants. Never they were asked to change culture or behave and talk like Gujaratis. Still they were able to prosper and develop their own Gujarati accent that is very much acceptable in Gujarat. They came in Gujarat without invitation but out of circumatances in their mother land. Cannot Canadian accept immigrants similarly the way Parsis were accepted in Gujarat. Do Parsi have any complaint of Gujarat attitude towards them in any form? Why do maximum immigrants in Canada have complaint for the attitude they face in Canada?

Chal yeh loh, ek fighter-cock ka story. Lagta hai ek waqt pe akela fight doing. Ekdum Rambo.
Ajit Adhopia: Fighting for the Indian cause
This is the story of a man who fought for his fellow countrymen in an alien land, sought to dispel myths surrounding religions and culture of India and educated Canadians about India and its people. And he succeeded. Ajit Adhopia, a social activist and an author has fought against racism in the UK and in Canada, has written a column in the Toronto Star for years educating people on different religions of India and has three books to his credit demystifying Hinduism.
Born in 1940 in Delhi, Adhopia immigrated to the United Kingdom in 1960 after graduating from University of Delhi in economics. He was taken aback by the racism prevalent in the country especially against South Asians. In those days there were no baths in the houses and people used public washrooms once in a week to bathe. On reaching the public bath on a weekend, Adhopia find a board saying that Indians are not allowed.
On contacting the manager, he was told the Indians use oil which leaves the tubs dirty and they cannot clean then after every visit. When he tried to reason with the manager, he refused to budge. Adhopia then wrote a letter to the editor of a local daily which was carried prominently. He also met with the Mayor of the city and insisted that a solution can be found. As a result of his efforts, the sign barring the Indians from the bath was replaced with ‘No Oil Allowed’ while he on his part ensured that regular announcements are made during the screening of the weekly Indian movie advising people not to use oil and a volunteer was posted outside the bath to check the bags of Indians for oil.
And the issue was resolved. In another similar case, Adhopia went to a photo studio for his picture and found a board saying that the studio was only for white men and their ladies. He once again wrote a letter to the editor which grabbed the headline and created a stir in the Indian and black community. He distributed pamphlets against the discrimination and it snowballed into a major controversy.
As a consequence, the insurance company of the studio refused to renew its insurance till it stopped discriminating. And the studio owner had to remove the board. Adhopia came to Canada in 1971 but was equally disappointed to see similar racism here. He recalls hostility amongst Canadian who called Indians ‘Pakis.’ He was sitting in a car and some school kids came and shouted “Paki Go Home.” And Adhopia felt terribly humiliated.
It was then that he started educating Canadian on India. He began giving a series of lectures at the weekly seminar of Toronto Police to educate the police officers, wrote columns in the Mississauga News and wrote letters to the editor against any negative news about India. In 1972 when he moved from Toronto to Mississauga, he invited the South Asian community members for a meeting on issues concerning them.
As a result of the meeting he launched the Peel Association for Community Relations which included members from all communities and religions. Soon after he led a delegation to then Mayor of Mississauga Ron Searle to submit a memorandum against discrimination. The Mayor brusquely dismissed the charge and said that South Asians have all the comforts but still all they do is complain. This enraged Adhopia and he launched campaign against Searle in the next election in which incumbent Mayor Hazel McCallion was contesting for the first time.
Adhopia called the community members over the phone and sent out pamphlets to them informing them of the Mayor’s statement and urging them to vote against him. And he succeeded. The community voted against Searle who lost the election by over 2000 votes. In early 1980s, he switched his focus to religion. Because, when he started taking his children to the temple, they asked questions about Hindu gods and Hinduism, about which he himself knew very little.
He felt embarrassed that he could not answer their queries. So he started reading about all religions. He also got involved with the activities in a local temple where is ran made efforts to educate children in religion. He brought coloring books featuring Hindu gods for the kids to generate their interest. He also held a weekly course on basic elements of Hinduism and wrote notes, ran tests and gave prizes for excellence.
He says that he wrote so many notes that his son suggested that he should publish a book. Thus came is first book The Hindus of Canada published in 1993 which was a perspective on the cultural heritage of Hindu Canadians. Likewise, several schools students used to come to the temple on trips from their schools. They had plenty of misconceptions and questions. He began educating them and wrote down their questions.

Its a non issue.
See if you can convince them its about social injustice or some kind of injustice then Canadian folks would make a dash to help you like they do for other causes like debt relief for Africa or protesting the Iraq War or other such causes.
Maybe we should hire Bono to lobby for us, 'cuz there aint nobody who can do it better than him.

How can u use contradicting adjectives for the same set of individuals. On the one hand u say that u represent “hardworking, sincere, positive minded, ambitious and full of enthusiasm” people while on the other hand they also happen to be “disgruntled professionals”. Anyone who is positive, ambitious, enthusiastic and hoping to fulfil his dreams one day can under no circumstances be disgruntled. Because being positive minded and ambitious he will always adapt to the circumstances. Because he is hardworking and sincere, he will be successful in the new field which he has adopted. If he is full of enthusiasm there will be no dearth of jobs for him.
