Hi everyone out there, hoping someone might be able to help.
I am interested in hiring some professional dhol players for a corporate event my company is having on October 20th at the Four Points Sheraton in London, Ontario.
If you know of any dhol players please let me know - only professionals please!! This is for a corporate event and I need to keep my job!

What sort of job requires expertise at hiring professional "dhol" players?

I'd suggest inquiring with temples, they may be able to give you some references.
If you search the charcha section for posts by a user "Shrek", I think he had a website with a list of all Hindu temples in the GTA along with contact information.

I meant I am only interested in dhol players who actually go out and do events, such as weddings, etc, you know, professionals who will be paid. And as I said in my original post, the company I work for is hosting a corporate event and are interested in hiring professional entertainers for ...duh...entertainment purposes. And since you want to know what expertise requires the hiring of dhol players, as Sales and Marketing Coordinator, it is my responsibility to organise this event. I could well have chosen to go with professional japanese drummers, as they would certainly be a crowd pleaser but as a "canadian-desi" I thought what an excellent opportunity to bring exposure to our culture.

No offence taken - and no my job would not be on the line. It would be more of an embarrassment if my suggestion to hire a "desi" organisation to provide the entertainment turned out to be a bunch of amateur dhol players (not very professional on my part!) If I could find a really good group, as a desi myself, I would feel really proud to say to the predominantly gora crowd "look at the cool music my culture has to offer...and you never knew it!"
